Andy Newman of The New York Times was kind enough to write up a piece today about next week's Canada goose event that I'm putting on in Brooklyn with the help of Slow Food NYC.I haven't checked in on it since around noon, but last time that I saw the comments thread on this thing it was hilarious. hah!!! what superb info... I for one am all for hunting for food, not necessarily for sport, and while an early hunting experience in my youth has put me off hunting (until the coming apocalypse, of course) i can fully get behind this goose culling and cooking idea. funny that some of the comments in the times are so against it, you'd think that you had suggested eating human flesh, not simply using invasive's as a food source. looking forward to your demo.
