John McCain to the rescue! Or, uh, not. Various news agencies are reporting that House and Senate Republican and Democratic party leaders have reached an agreement about an economic bail-out package. Before John McCain's plane even landed.
The man made a very bold bet. It looks like that bet lost. Instead of looking like the straight-shooter on a white horse, riding in to the rescue, we have Super-Grover!
C'mon, everybody! Vote for Supergrover! Because he, uh, suspended his campaign. And chickened out of a debate. And, uh, exhibits great leadership by inserting himself into a situation where he is totally unnecessary.
